CSU Individual International Travel

Preparing for an international experience such as the following requires preparation and resources for health and safety planning, so that CSU can best support you while you are abroad:

• Conference
• Competition
• Performance
• Research
• Internship
• Practicum
• Fieldwork
• Field education
• Externship
• Service learning or
• Volunteer

This application is intended to support primarily graduate students and post-doctoral trainees traveling abroad for academic purposes and not needing federal financial aid.  If your purpose for travel is related to your status as a student, you must register with the Office of International Programs to receive travel reimbursement.

You must complete an application if any of the following apply:

• Your program has been promoted by a CSU employee, department, or college
• You will be traveling with a CSU employee
• Your program is featured on a CSU webpage
• Your program earns credit or satisfies a graduation requirement
• You will be receiving funding through CSU for this experience (e.g. grants, scholarships, assistantships, or being paid by CSU) or using University equipment

If you have questions, are an undergraduate, or are earning credit for research, internship, practicum, field education, service learning, coursework or independent study, please contact the Education Abroad office (970-491-6342) and describe your program type.  This may not be the correct application type for you.
