Housing and Meals

All EARTH University education abroad students live in on-campus dorms, sharing a room with another student from another country.  Dorm rooms are separated by a large desk to give each roommate some privacy.  There is a single bed, a closet with shelves, a shoe rack, a place to hang your clothes, and a latch if you want to bring a padlock.  There is an overhead light, a desk light, and a ceiling fan.  There are three double plug-ins on each side of the room.  Each dorm has a study room and a lounge with a TV. Students will need to bring their own sheets, towels, and hangers.

There is wireless internet in all dorms, classrooms, and the library, so students may bring a laptop if they have one.

The cafeteria provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  At breakfast, students have two options for the main course, gallo pinto (rice and beans fried together), fresh fruit, and bread.  At lunch (the largest meal of the day), students will have options for salad, 2 choices of meat, rice, beans, vegetables, bread, and fruit or dessert.  Dinner will be similar except there is always soup and fruit.  Vegetarian options are provided at every meal.

There is a little store referred to as "La Jama" on campus where students can purchase snacks such as soda, juice, ice cream, chips, cookies, gum, candy and popcorn. La Jama also sells school supplies and toiletries such as soap, deodorant, and toothpaste.
