Program Description:

SRH University Heidelberg Summer Business

This 5 week summer block at SRH Heidelberg will be led by a CSU faculty member from mid-June to late-July. Students have the opportunity to earn 3 CSU credits of Contemporary Management Principles (MGT 320), which is part of the core curriculum.  They will learn about more about business and management practices in Germany and Europe through instruction, guest lectures, and regional visits.  Summer students should consider staying for the affordable semester exchange at SRH, where they can continue to take businesses courses in English on a block schedule.

General Program Information

WHEN: Mid-June to late-July (Students might also consider the extended fall term program from mid-June to mid-December, which is a great price!)

HOST INSTITUTION:  SRH University Heidelberg

CREDITS:  3 CSU credits of MGT 320.

COST:  Please see relevant budget sheet for SUMMER. Students should complete the Education Abroad Common Scholarship Application to be eligible for scholarships.

LANGUAGE:  English is the language of instructions.  Students will have the opportunity to practice speaking German.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum GPA 2.7, Good Disciplinary Standing. Sophomore or higher class standing preferred.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:  The course, Contemporary Management Principles (MGT 320), allows Colorado State University business students the benefit of traveling as a group with support from CSU faculty leadership for 5 week summer session.  They can complete business core curriculum in an international context.

Accommodations

CSU students normally reside in self-catered, student apartments on the SRH campus.  Accommodations do not include meals but affordable dining is available throughout campus.
